Job Description
· Strong technical acumen and ability to lead a development process
· Effective communication skills to clearly convey complex technical ideas, regardless of the technical capacity of the audience
· Demonstrably deep understanding of dimensional modeling and master data management
· Having participated in large scale implementations of data warehouses and master data management solutions
· Hands-on experience implementing Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services multi-dimensional models
· Strong hands-on SQL skills with the ability to hone queries
· Comfortable using MDX or DAX to query OLAP cubes
· Excel for mocking up reports using live data (ex: Power Pivot, Power Query, Power View…)
· Modeling data within the financial services sector, particularly within listed derivatives.
Good to have:
· SQL Server Master Data Services implementation experience
· Power BI implementations using an on-premise gateway
· Versioning models, scripts and reports using a source control repository like Subversion or GitHub
· Comfortable using R or Python for data analysis
· Familiarity with DataOps principles
· Series 3 certification
