Job Title: Data Modeler Rate: $45-50/hr  Location: Rockville, MD Required skills for database development and data modelling Good understanding of various relational databases (such as Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, DB2) and data modeling tools (such as Erwin, SQL Data Modeler) Experience working with a relational database (such as Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, MySQL) Understanding of non-relational databases (such as NoSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra) Experience creating database tables, views, medium to complex stored procedures, triggers, and functions Good understanding of conceptual, logical, and physical data models to translate business requirements to update data models Identify opportunities for reducing data redundancy and understand trends in data use and single source of truth Good understanding of application security and data protection Good ability to perform database code testing and bug fixing Good ability to integrate databases with applications Required skills for data analytics Basic development experience in data mining and data analysis methods, building and implementing forecasting and predictive models, usingand creating algorithms, simple applications, and creating and running simulations Good understanding of programming, statistical techniques and concepts, and machine learning techniques and applications Hands-on experience in using statistical programming languages and tools for data analysis (such as R, SAS, IBM SPSS, SQL) Good understanding of the different data sources (relational / non-relational, structured / unstructured, big data) and the ability to connect the data points for exploratory data analysis Ability to blend algorithms, programming, and visualizations to traverse datasets, apply filters and conditions to the data, and create meaningful visualizations Thanks & Regards,   Ankit Verma Recruiter Call: +1 201-982-7932 E: Ankitv@vbeyond.com | www.vbeyond.com 390 Amwell Road, Suite # 107, Hillsborough, NJ 08844 Note – VBeyond is fully committed to Diversity and Equal Employment Opportunity.   Disclaimer: We respect your Online Privacy.
