Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Analytics projects across the enterprise focused on cloud native infrastructure and modernization program to migrate legacy data platforms to Azure data platform
- Oversee the purpose, status, and plans for project(s) as well as cross project dependencies
- Establish operational objectives, work-plans, and collaborate with other technical project managers
- Establish and assure adherence to budgets, schedules, work plans, milestones, and performance requirements
- Interact with senior management/executives on project and related matters. Manage executive reporting and communication
- Manage Scrum Teams. Supports teams in setting direction required in increments and sprint planning
- Provides direction to help teams deliver a cohesive Product that aligns with business vision
- Drive timely solution and design decisions in line with plan
- Execute timely reviews and acceptance of deliverables
- Help remove barriers and blockers
- Manages the overall planning and execution of program level activities, across all sub-teams to ensure program activities remain in line with planned business outcomes, budget, scope, and timeline
- Coordinates with Product Owners in deconstructing and integrating work plans for the respective waves
- Maintains program critical path across Platform, Data Quality/Data Governance and RPU/RPI teams and drives resolution of leadership level dependencies, risks, issues, or other escalations impacting progress
Requirements:
- Strong program & project management skills รข€" experience in preparing project plan, budget, key communication templates and managing communication
- Prior program and project management experience involving migrating large legacy data platforms (Teradata, Oracle, DataStage, Ab Initio, Talend, Hadoop Data Platform) to Azure Data Platform (Azure SQL, Azure Data Factory, Data Lake Storage, Databricks, Synapse, ML, Power BI, Power Apps)
- Comprehensive understanding of ETL and legacy data migrations to Azure Cloud
- Hands-on experience planning, executing, and migrating on prem legacy data platforms to Azure Data platform
- Experience with Azure Data Platform services e.g. Azure SQL, Azure Data Factory, Data Lake Storage, Databricks, Synapse, ML, Power BI etc.)
- Strong oral and written communication skills, strong influencing skills
- Preferred certifications: PMP, CSM
