Role - Cloud DevOps Specialist
Location: NY, USA
Job Responsibilities:
As a Senior DevOps Engineer + AWS Migration Specialist to work with application teams to help accelerate their cloud migration journey. The DevOps Engineer will works with app teams helping them to effectively lead migration assessment, readiness and strategy across a broader team of cross functional resources. DevOps Engineer will also focus on understanding end user business drivers as well as the existing datacenter architecture to deliver a Cloud readiness assessment to the users.
Minimum qualifications
• Master’s Degree, or equivalent
Preferred qualifications
• Knowledge of security controls for the Public cloud (encryption of data in motion/rest and key management)
• Hands-on experience with Azure and/or AWS design and implementation
• Knowledge of Linux and Windows containers
• RedHat Enterprise Linux knowledge
• Experience with Open Source Cloud and configuration management tools (Puppet, Chef)
• Experience with alternate cloud providers (e.g. Google Cloud Platform)
• Experience with virtualization technologies (Hyper-V, VMWare ESX, etc.)
• Experience in the financial industry
