Job Title: Sr. Android Engineer/ Tech Lead
Location: Atlanta, GA (Remote till Covid Lockdown, later on-site)
Position Type: Long-Term Contract
Must Have Skills:
- Full-Stack Coding for Mobile Devices
- Dart and Flutter
- Android development
- React native
- JavaScript
- AWS Cloud
- GIT
- Microservices
- Kanban or Lean Principles
Requirements –
- Working experience in design, development, and implementation of highly scalable, high-volume software systems and components, client-facing web and mobile solutions, specifically Android applications.
- Provides on-going support, monitoring, and maintenance of deployed products.
- Understands technical architecture and writes software and automated tests that are aligned with agreed upon standards.
- Works with Product partners to understand the challenges that customers and end users face in their day-to-day work and partner with them to design. solutions that delight the end users while meeting business objectives.
- Provides input into feature sizing and decomposition into stories, backlog grooming and release planning.
Required skills –
- Working experience in full stack coding for mobile devices. In order of preference: Dart and Flutter, Android development, React native, JavaScript.
- Working experience with AWS or similar Cloud components. AWS cloud certification preferred.
- Experience managing code in a repository (GIT preferred).
- Working experience in analysis, design and programming of complex systems involving Microservices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent combination of industry related professional experience and education.
- Kanban and lean principles and values.
- 5 – 8 years of working experience.
