Job Description:
Apex Systems combines with parent company On Assignment to make it the 2nd largest IT staffing agency in the country.
Apex has an opportunity for a Mobile Developer role in which is REMOTE, and CLIENT HQ's are Chicago, IL & Boston, MA. This is a 1 year contract position
Position Description:
- Design, develop & prototype iOS native customer applications for internal and external use.
- Participate in full app life cycle: concept, design, build, deploy, test and release to app store.
- Work with product teams on new product ideas, designs, prototypes and estimates.
- Keep up-to-date on current and upcoming features in relevant products and platforms
- Drive a best practices approach to the continuous improvement of our products, processes, and tools.
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of documentation for all features in development
- Lead, train, guide and mentor other developers on the team
Required Skills:
1. 6+ years of experience in OOP - CS Degree is preferred
2. iOS (Objective C & Swift)
3. DevOps
4. Unit Testing
Desired Skills (not required but candidate will have exposure to these skills in this role):
1. React Native (converting from to Native iOS and Android)
2. TDD/Agile Experience - working on large consumer apps
3. eCommerce
