Job Title : Software Architect Duration: 1+ Years City : Atlanta State : GA   Required Skills : AWS with EKS, Elastic Search, Kafka, Java, Spring Boot I am looking for someone who understands how the AWS ecosystem works and set up the application In this role this person will be helping to manage the project of transitioning the technology stack into AWS Need to understand AWS Cloud Management capabilities Candidates will be working with teams in India AND Europe so the manager has ask that the candidates be able to start work at 5AM EST (so candidates should sit in the eastern time zone so that they are not up too early) There will be 2 video technical interviews and one video personality interview Role Summary/Purpose We are looking to hire Sr. Staff Software Architect to help build the architectural capability and roadmap for software products helping achieve desired outcomes for our customers. This is a strategic role which defines the technology roadmap for Port Optimizer portal and data aggregation platform for global customers. Qualifications/Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) A minimum of 12 years of technical experience along with established leadership credentials across domains/products Significant experience working on application architecture in an engineering, design and architecture capacity. Proficiency in multiple enterprise technologies, architectural styles, and containerization techniques. Expert knowledge and experience in Java, microservices , event driven architecture, frameworks, various open source stacks, and relational databases. Experience in cloud technologies and practices, building applications using services such as AWS EKS, Lambda, EMR, CloudFormation and MSK, and a well-grounded knowledge of engineering and continuous delivery practices. Passionate about technology and delivering solutions for difficult and intricate problems. Current on functional and reactive programming, microservices Experience with event driven architectures, caching, scale-out architectures, designing systems for high throughput, low latency, managing conflation, high availability and fault tolerance Understanding of security compliance, managed services in cloud-based workloads. Strong understanding and experience building enterprise grade cloud/hosted applications using varied technology stack and commercialization of the same Experience working as part of teams following Agile Scrum methodology Strong oral and written communication skills.
