Title – SQL Server Database Administrator
Location: Bellevue, WA

Description:-
Minimum 8+ Years of experience
• MS SQL 2005/2008 and R2/2012/2014/2016 Installation & Configuration such as Database Engine, Reporting Services, Integration Services, Analysis Services) on physical standalone, Cluster nodes and VM’s. • MS SQL Patching, Security Patch on all versions in MS SQL Server. • Good in Database Upgrade, Migration strategies.• Familiar in window systems such as 2008/2012/2016, Active directory and windows commands. • Capacity/Space Management on servers and databases. • Database Backup, Recovery and data management such as import/export.• Database Security management. • Good in database commands, write custom T-SQL when required. • Good in managing large databases, indexes, and statistics management.• Knowledge in Maintenance Plan, Alerts mechanism.• Database server configuration, services management, database links.• Knowledge in AlwaysOn Setup, configuration, Troubleshooting.• Knowledge in Replication, Database Mirroring, SQL Cluster configuration setup on database and troubleshooting various high availability Issues.• Knowledge in Disaster Recovery (DR) options, datacenter failover/failback strategies. • Performance Analysis and Optimization using SQL Profiler or 3rd party tools, Query/Indexes tuning.• Implementing Database Best Practices.• Perform database maintenance, co-ordinate network/server changes, and Outage activities. • Good understanding in all layers of Infrastructure.• Provide off hours support as part of the 24x7 operations and support on call rotations • To proactively monitor the database systems to ensure secure services with minimum downtime• Good understanding of Incident, Asset, Problem and Change Management (ITIL).
• Databases build • Installation of patches • Refresh of databases from backups • Advanced performance issues troubleshooting • Skilled with MSSQL and to support for High availability and DR technologies • Change Management with DB deployments and support • Dedicated coverage for 24X7 • Basic understanding of JIRA tool for DB requests and support • Basic understanding of Ticketing tool for DB incidents • Good communication skills with TSG stakeholders • Good experience with MSSQL replication setup and administration
