Job Title:   Informatica ETL Administrator

Location:   San Antonio, TX

Duration:   (12+Months )Contract

Must have experience:

·         Supporting the Windows based Production, QA and Development of Informatica Data Quality and Informatica power center 10.x environments.

·         Administration of Informatica and Prior experience installing, upgrading and supporting environments

·         Outlining best practices for Informatica repository usage, security controls, version control, code migration, and scripting, logging, and other development and deployment procedures.

·         Troubleshooting during system downtime to restore service (working with vendor if necessary), determining root cause and establishing procedures to avoid recurrence.

·         Supporting the system running on Windows Environment

·         Lead an Informatica Team to provide production development support; Provide Tier 1 production support for ETL and Data processes

·         Administering the Informatica Suite of tools – Data Quality, Power Center, Power Exchange products (2 – 3 years)

·         Experience performing Informatica upgrades and hot fix installations.

·         7+ years of hands-on experience using Informatica Power center

·         Solid Hands on experience in SQL programming and writing stored procedures, functions, views, SQL queries is required.

·         Informatica on multi node grid environment

The SAP BusinessObjects Administrator (windows) has the following responsibilities:

·         Provide application-related support, which includes installation, upgrade, patching, migration, and user access set up for SAP BusinessObjects BI Suite, SAP Lumira and SAP Predictive Analytics Suite using standard system life cycle methods.

·         Perform ongoing maintenance and provide support in all phases of integrating to newer versions of the SAP Business Objects BI Suite & Predictive Analytics Suite tools and databases.

·         Monitor SAP BusinesObjects servers and services, maintaining availability and optimal performance according to predefined service level agreements (SLAs) when SLAs exist.

·         Enable high availability and perform data model backups, application tuning, and user support for SAP BusinessObjects BI Suite, SAP Lumira, and SAP Predictive Analytics Suite.

·         Configure recurring jobs using Linux cron or similar timer utility depending on business requirements.

·         Serve as a resource for resolving complex, escalated issues and collaborate with developers to resolve and prevent performance and reliability issues.

·         Implement strong application security including access control, encryption, and auditing as defined by management.

·         Recommend standards, perform daily health checks, submit incident reports to EPA and maintain a log of all incidents in accordance with EPA standards.

Troubleshoot issues such as connection, failed jobs, application errors, server alerts, space thresholds, etc. All issues must be resolved within predefined service level agreements (SLAs) when SLAs exist.
