Ruby on Rails Architect in NY OR NJ

Urgent Need

Role: Ruby On Rails Architect Location: NY/NJ Long Term Contract   Responsibilities : - Understand product/business requirements to define system specifications and design a robust technology solution - Upgrade legacy system/architecture to latest technologies - Building quick proof of concepts wherever needed - Monitor the application performance and ensure SLAs are met always. - Design the technical and deployment architecture at the beginning of every project - Communicate system requirements to software development teams - Evaluate and select appropriate software or hardware and suggest integration methods - Define coding standards, conduct code reviews and provide guidance to team members constantly - Assist with solving technical problems when they arise - Ensure the implementation of agreed architecture and infrastructure - Address technical concerns, ideas and suggestions - Work closely with Engineering Manager or Technical lead to ensure successful rollout of the agreed architecture - Monitor systems to ensure they meet both user needs and business goals Requirement : - Proven experience as a Technical Architect using open source technologies atleast for 4 years - Hands-on experience with software development and deployment - Experience in service-oriented architecture (SOA) and building Microservices - Current coding experience in languages Rubi On Rails - Hands on experience with UNIX variants and relational, NoSQL databases - Experience in cloud technologies (e.g. AWS, Google Cloud, Azure etc.) - Excellent communication skills - Problem-solving aptitude - BTech in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field Thanks & Regards,   Faiz Alam Senior Recruiter T: +1 678-507-0845 E: faiza@vbeyond.com | www.VBeyond.com 390 Amwell Road, Suite #107, Hillsborough, NJ 08844 Note – VBeyond is fully committed to Diversity and Equal Employment Opportunity.   Disclaimer: We respect your Online Privacy.
