Job: Data Science Engineer

 

Location: Dallas, TX and Atlanta, GA

 

Job Description:

 

End User Metrics and Dashboards supporting Deadbolt related security events.

 

·         3+ years of experience designing and building large and complex data sets, from spurious sources while thinking strategically about uses of data and how data use interacts with data design.

·         Hands on experience in designing and implementing statistical data quality procedures around new data sources.

·         At least 2+ years of experience extracting and modeling data using SPLUNK. 

·         Hands-on experience with LDAP, TCP/IP

·         Experience in Oracle database using SQL, PL/SQL, Stored Procedures, functions etc.

·         Experience in setting up dashboards, analytical dashboards, leadership reports and alerts using Splunk enterprise version.

·         Knowledge in implementing monitoring solutions with distributed Splunk Enterprise environment.

·         Ability to perform data studies and data discovery around new data sources or new uses for existing data sources.

·         Familiarity with Qradar and common logging schemas.

·         Perform statistical analyses with existing data sets in statistical packages.

·         Visualize and report data findings creatively in a variety of visual formats that appropriately provides insights to the organization
