Location: Polk County, FL – 100% Onsite from Day 1   Client’s focus is on someone who handles day-to-day maintenance and support of their production, test and development environments.  Some background and as a headsup, they're working towards upgrading their current Oracle EBS environment - moving from current platform (12.1.3, on-premises) to Oracle Cloud SaaS.    Job Description:   Major Function: Reports to Application Supervisor. Responsible for set up maintenance, security, performance tuning, problem resolution and support of relational databases. Provide technical expertise in analysis, design, construction, implementation, documentation and ongoing support for client server, web/internet database applications.   Duties and key skills required:   1)      Database monitoring and network administration 2)      Project Management 3)      Performance Tuning 4)      Backup and Recovery 5)      System Development 6)      Capacity Planning 7)      Written and Oral Communications – Conducts meetings with client and Information Technology staff 8)      Other – Attends education courses as required. Performs related duties as required   Special Preferences   Database administration experience in Oracle, Informix, and/or Microsoft SQL.
