Role: Mainframe Architect
Location: Columbus, GA
Duration: Long-term
Skills Required
Must have Experience: Migration Legacy systems to cloud
Extensive previous background with IBM mainframes in mainframe architecture, middleware, compiler, storage, MIPS, Applications, Scheduler, Configuration management and CICS
Good knowledge of Mainframe tools, languages (Assembler, Cobol, JCL etc.) and database like VSAM, DB2 etc.
Thought Leadership with extensive knowledge in legacy modernization techniques related tools and approaches, application migration and application refactoring using other language
Experienced in Web Technologies like Java/J2EE, Spring framework, JSP/Servlets, Cloud (Azure, AWS)
Had a good hand-on experience in API on mainframe & Open source
Application Modernization expertise in Application Portfolio Assessment and Roadmap, SOA, Re-engineering, Integration, Modernization, Migration, Rehosting and Cloud Adoption
Knowledge of Agile and iterative development methodologies
Excellent understanding and experience of co-ordinating senior level presentations
Excellent leadership, interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
