PROJECT: C360 Tech Evolution. As part of the C360 Polaris Program Delivery, we have deliverables for HCP- EDS, Enterprise pillar to move out of Mark Logic and start our APIs in the latest technology stack. Without this resource our timeline of Polaris deliverables will be impacted.
IDEAL BACKGROUND: This position requires someone with a strong Java and KAFKA/Cassandra skill set that can guide teams through implementations as we transform HCP Services to the new Technology stack. Would like to have someone who is experienced in the Healthcare Domain.
TOP REQUIREMENTS:
* Design, develop, modify, and/or test software applications for the healthcare industry;
* Implement benefit-related features on an end-to-end Consumer eligibility application;
* Implement MVC Architecture using Spring framework, business logic using Java, and user interfaces with JSP and JavaScript; develop test cases with the Spock framework and Groovy, and integration tests utilizing REST;
* Work with Cassandra and MarkLogic databases; collaborate with System Analysts and Product Owners to align business requirements to the functionality of the application
* Design reusable components, frameworks and libraries and contribute to the design and architecture to enable secure, scalable, and maintainable software.

Design, develop, modify, and/or test software applications for the healthcare industry; implement benefit-related features on an end-to-end Consumer eligibility application; implement MVC Architecture using Spring framework, business logic using Java, and user interfaces with JSP and JavaScript; develop test cases with the Spock framework and Groovy, and integration tests utilizing REST; work with Cassandra and MarkLogic databases; collaborate with System Analysts and Product Owners to align business requirements to the functionality of the application; analyze existing system features and architecture, and assist in defining requirements for new technical features; implement code reviews for other developers and provide feedback for future state of the code; mentor both new and experienced developers to provide guidance on best practices and coding standards; participate in an Agile/Scrum methodology to deliver high-quality software releases every 2 weeks through Sprints, Troubleshoot production support issues post-deployment and come up with solutions as required; and design reusable components, frameworks and libraries and contribute to the design and architecture to enable secure, scalable, and maintainable software.
What software tools/skills are needed to perform these daily responsibilities?
API Development knowledge using Java, MV Spring, Development and streaming technology like Kafka/Cassandra.
