Description:-

• Provide support in the development of backup management and business recovery plans
• Perform functions pertaining to the business risk assessments
• Review and develop business recovery strategies, draft procedures for identifying failures and invoking contingency plans
• Create response procedures and identifying communications channels
• Work with the incident and problem management on root causes and proactive avoidance of future incidents on backup and recovery systems.
• Monitor day to day backup operations and bring in standards based on site challenges.
• Should have hands on experience in NetBackup and Cohesity administration.
• Ability to design backup strategies at enterprise level
• Provide Technical Support for Projects and Strategic Backup Initiatives
• Provide Backup and Recovery of Servers & Data bases
• Support and Administer Backups software (Like Cohesity, Net Backup)
• Install, Setup Operating System and Backup Applications
• Participate with Incident Management process and troubleshooting problems
• Must have worked on large production backup environments.
• Knowledge on FC cabling and resolving its connectivity issues
• Should have designed and managed Highly Available / Disaster Recovery infrastructure.
• Experience of Unix Operating system / VMWARE Job-related Skills Essential Skills
• Understanding of cloud backup/DR solutions
• Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Must be able to work & communicate with internal teams, clients & remote site resources by following best practices
• Knowledge on below tape library or any relevant tape libraries
• StorageTek Tape library - SL150, SL3000, SL8500
• Spectra Logic tape library - Spectra bundle, Xfinity Veritas
• Good communication skills
• Excellent in investigating critical production issues and being able to mentor backup specialists and handle Escalated calls.
• Ability to handle shift even in heavy load situation.
