Position : Build and Release Engineer

Location: Jersey City, New Jersey

Duration: 9 Months

Rate: $57/hr on C2C (all incl)

 ***Requires Passport number for H1B's. NO OPT EAD's***

Requirement:

The Supplier will assist in the development of comprehensive solutions for deploying and updating business-critical applications, including release planning, deployment coordination, and application release automation. The Release Team is tasked to deploy changes into live environments while maximizing value for the business and protecting the integrity of other existing services.

Deliverables:

The RM processes are built around multiple key goals:

• Managing risk
• Coordinating IT resources
• Ensuring compliance and auditing processes
• Implementing the cut-over to new software versions
• Executing post-deployment, non-functional validations to determine the viability of a deployment
• Automation of release back-out
  Skills:
  The candidates for these positions should be extremely diverse; have a well-versed knowledge base and to support Software Release deployments leveraging multiple tool-sets and platforms, notably: Source Versioning (Harvest, Subversion, GIT), Integrated Build (Jenkins, Nexus/Maven), Deployment Software (Ansible, Jenkins, BXP/CLI) and support multiple Platforms (Linux, Windows, BXP).
