Role: Liferay Developer

Location: Auburn Hills, MI

Duration: Long term

 

Responsibilities:

                • Work on both engineering and operations side of things

                • Understand all phases of SDLC

                • Automate routine tasks

                • Pick up new skills quickly

                • Collaborate with different teams in the organization

                • Participate in on-call rotation

 

Requirements:

·         8+ years of experience in installing, configuring and administering Liferay Portal

·         5+ years of experience in Liferay development

·         5+ years of experience in installing, configuring and administering three or more of:

o   Apache Tomcat Application Server

o   Apache Web Server

o   JBoss/Wildfly Application Server

o   WebSphere Portal

o   Micorsoft ISS Server

·         Experience in upgrading Liferay Portal 6.2 to DXP

·         Experience in setting up clustered environments involving Liferay and Apache web servers

·         Experience in setting up SOLR/Elastic search engine with Liferay

·         Experience in securing web and application servers; understand SSL/encryption concepts

·         Experience in upgrading WebSphere, Tomcat and JBoss/Wildfly application servers

·         Experience in upgrading Apache, IBM HTTP and Oracle iPlanet web servers

·         Experience in automating tasks utilizing shell scripting and Python

·         Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills

·         Nice to have skills:

a.     AEM

b.     WebLogic

c.      DevOps tools - Jenkins, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes etc.
