CLIENT NEED. Search Engine Developer This role is in NYC, NY                 Corp to Corp is OK Contract :- 12+ Months Job Description. We are looking for an ambitious and self-driven candidate to join our team. The role is crucial for the success of our business, so the candidate should have an outstanding attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership along with good collaboration skills. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES •   Working with large data and faster data delivery •   Working on Lucene & SOLR -Search Engine, Text Mining, Indexing Lucene Java search library, REST-like API such as HTTP/XML and JSON APIs •   Setting up and configuring multiple SOLR cores under Linux environment •   SOlrJ API programming for querying/feeding etc. •   Should be able to design, implement and deploy highly scalable and reliable systems •   Integrating multi core searches •   Make suggestions for better solutions to problems •   Keep abreast of latest and emerging search technologies SKILLS •   Minimum 2 years of experience as a search Developer •   Have worked on below areas in SOLR/Elastic o   Filters, Query Parsers and their customization o   Auto correct o   Type head o   Boosting o   Natural Querying o   Handle Dynamic Fields o   Performance Tuning o   Faceted Search o   Grouping •   Have implemented automated techniques and processes for the bulk and real-time indexing in Apache SOLR of large-scale data sets •   Have enough exposure to search queries against SOLR/Elastic indexes using Client API •   Have worked on high-complexity integrations of SOLR/Elastic •   Understanding of deployment tools (Jenkins etc.) •   Have exposure to source control tools (preferably Git Hub) •   In-depth knowledge of search concepts •   Java/.net (for create Indexing Job and Search API) EDUCATION Bachelor’s degree required degree in Computer Science or related field preferred   Thanks & Regards,  Hiren Rathod Cell# 908-533-7964    Hiren.rathod@cyberthink.com www.cyberthink.com/staffing
