Role: Sr. SX.e Developer Location: Remote Length: Contract / Long-Term Contract / Contract to Hire   Job Summary : Our client utilizes Infor Distribution ERP (SX.e) as its primary business application to manage their business process. ERP is the source for sales, credit, accounts payable, operations, inventory and finance functions. The ERP Analyst is responsible to understand, configure and administer the SX.e ERP to fit the business needs and work on integrating 3rd party applications with the ERP. In addition, this role will be responsible to support the ongoing maintenance needed by the ERP such as mass updates, database maintenance, upgrade documentation, and user end support. **Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job. In addition, duties, responsibilities and activities may change at any time with or without notice.  Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  •      Experienced understanding of the core SX.e ERP modules (Order Entry, Pricing, Kitting, Inventory, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable.  •      Ability to research new and existing ERP functionality and utilize it to improve business processes.  •      Write Progress DB Q/D scripts to perform mass updates to inventory, customers, orders and custom fields.  •      Perform necessary maintenance of SX.e such as reviewing and editing user security, adding Linux printers, printer groups, update SASO security and monitoring report queues.  •      Assist with system functionality documentation and testing.  •      Assist with custom modification documentation and testing.  •      Participate with ongoing IT projects related to ERP such as ION integration, Infor OS (business vault, IDM), EDI mapping/exception, and WebUI migration.  •      Develop custom programs/reports in Progress   Qualifications:**All of the below are Must Have** •      Demonstrates intermediate knowledge of Infor SX.e ERP  •      1-3+ years of Infor ERP systems analyst duties  •      1-3+ years of experience with Linux RedHat OS commands and navigation •      1-3+ years of experience with Progress DB administration  •      Strong communication and written skills.  •      High school diploma required; Bachelor’s preferred  Typically requires 1-3+ years of related work experience   ...
