JD: Job Description
The Security Consultant role will be required to be an experienced resource in delivering security requirements into the SaaS based deployment at GSK.
The role will be required to assess the Risk and Security posture of the project deployment and offer general consultancy as an input to the project implementation. The role will require some stakeholder engagement to agree on recommendations and activities to mitigate any risks identified.
Key Responsibilities
• Identify and evaluate business and technology risks associated with the deployment of the SaaS based solutions and recommend remedial actions consistent with regulatory and legal requirements as well as industry best practice.
• Review and collaborate on the completion of Security and Risk related user stories.
• Attend virtual workshops for Deployment cycle and coordinate with the Project/Implementation team to facilitate Security and Risk requirements.
• Negotiate Security and Risk management proposals with Application Owners, Project Directors and the SaaS OEM/vendors and escalate any risks exceeding agreed limits.
Skills
• Information Security experience in the following domains:
· Governance, Risk & Compliance
· Risk Assessment, treatment, and Methodology
· Experience in Risk Assessment for SaaS based solution (preferred ServiceNow)
o Network and Infrastructure
o Host and Applications including Software-as-a-Service (SaaS)
o Privacy and Data Protection
o Cyber Regulations, Standards, Policies and Procedures
• Experienced with embedding Security requirements in ServiceNow deployments.
• Ability to understand and articulate security technology topics such as cloud security, application security, logging and monitoring, API security, system hardening and database security.
• Basic understanding of SOX and GxP regulatory requirements and their application within the Pharmaceutical industry.
• Experience developing and delivering security requirements into Agile developed projects and work streams with external dependencies.
• Experience in modern cloud computing and delivery platforms.
• Strong written and verbal skills
Additional preferred qualifications:
• Certification - CISSP, CISM, CSSLP, CISA, ACP.
• Pharmaceutical experienced preferred but not essential.
