Developer / Configurator – Electronic Lab Notebook w/ DOTMATICS
Job Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain templates, workflows, and reports to implement laboratory business processes in Electronic Lab Notebook (Dotmatics)
- Design develop, and maintain efficient solutions to integrate ELN with other laboratory and Enterprise systems
- Work with laboratory business groups to understand business process and gather requirements.
- Responsible for testing of their work to ensure requirements are met and resolve any identified bugs
- Troubleshoot and resolve the bugs identified in the ELN software
- Participate in design and code reviews to review system design and code to ensure adherence to guidelines and policies.
- Maintain detailed technical documentation on ELN design, features and architecture.
- Co-ordinate with vendor to report and resolve product bugs and enhancements
- Demonstrate new features and customizations to laboratory business groups
- Assist system administration team in installation, configuration, and deployment of custom solutions.
Required Qualifications:
- Must have experience in ELN configuration in life sciences industry
- Experience with Dotmatics ELN system mandatory
- Experience in Chemistry or Biology lab processes strongly preferred
- Must have experience in design and development of experiment templates and workflows based on user requirements
- Experience configuring and customizing various ELN workflows
- Good understanding of ELN database schemas and data structures
- Good understanding of OOPS concepts, familiarity with Web Services and APIs
- Understanding of .NET based Windows service development, configuration and deployment
- Strong communication, presentation, and business analysis skills required
