Title- Information Security Engineer
Location: Cumberland, RI
Duration: 1+ Year
Description-
• 5+ years of overall IT experience with a proven background in security engineering, data loss prevention and supporting of security solutions for similar domains.
• Experience in Digital Guardian, Code Green, Symantec Vontu. Experience with supporting Linux, Windows and Apple environments.
• Solid working knowledge of networking protocols such as HTTP/S, TLS, SSH, SFTP.
• 2+ Years of experience with Splunk or Splunk ES.
• Experience with Visio and creating complex application, system and network drawings.
• Strong verbal and written communications skills; must be able to effectively communicate technical details and thoughts in non-technical/general terminology to various levels of the organization.
• Ability to meet aggressive deadlines to support business initiatives.
• Must be Self-motivated with the ability to work both collaboratively on a team or self-guided with minimal.
• BS degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Technology.
• Ability to participate in on-call 24x7 rotations, in support of operations.
• Experience with Cloud and on Premise DLP implementation.
• Knowledge of data classification solutions.
• Knowledge of cryptographic implementations at media, file, and application levels.
• Experience with metadata management and data tagging and creating custom data analytics for data security.
• Coding/Scripting experience (PowerShell, Python etc).
• At least 1 Industry recognized security certifications (CISSP, CISM, SANS GIAC etc).
• At least 1 Industry recognized technology certification (A+, Server +, MCSE, RHCE, etc).
• Experience with creating in PowerPoint or SharePoint.
• Background with DLP rules and policy creation.
• Familiarity with VDI infrastructure (Citrix and VMware).
Manages and operates the solutions and components used to provide Data Loss Protection in the client’s environment.
In this role, you are mainly responsible for the operational support, performance, tactical lifecycle management and continuous improvement of the underlying DLP technologies deployed in the client’s environment.
• Project based DLP deployments.
• DLP Application and System upgrades.
• DLP Agent Deployment / Troubleshooting.
• DLP Rule Writing and Tuning.
• DLP server patching.
