Role: QA Automation Engineer with selenium and network testing
Location- San Jose, CA
Duration: 6-12 Months
Max rate is $60/hrs on c2c
Required Skills:
• Expertise in test planning and testing of scalable, multi-tier products.
• Strong experience in testing of Software and App stack
• Strong computer science fundamentals.
• A self-starter who has the ability and willingness to learn new material quickly and perform in a fast-paced environment.
• A great team player, sociable, with good communication skills.
Technical Qualifications:
• 7+ years of experience in test planning and end-to-end testing of complex software and application stacks
• Comfortable in a Unix environment, with an understanding of networking fundamentals
• Basic knowledge and familiarity with Java code
• Experience with web service protocols such as SOAP and REST
• Working knowledge of SQL and databases, particularly Oracle.
• Strong build, release, deploy and CI skills
Expected responsibilities:
• create, maintain, execute test cases/plans
• aid in writing docs (=> have good written/verbal/communication skills)
• be able to understand all business cases thoroughly, test mostly manually, but be willing to read java code, and have strong Build/Release/Deploy/Linux/CI skills.
• He/She would need to test the product end-to-end and facilitate moving all tickets across the board form Resolved to Closed
