- Provide solutions around Hyperion Planning and Budgeting, Smart View software, architecture, dimensional configuration, business functionality, data integration, and process workflow (e.g., validation rules, process control).
- Person should be proficient in the following areas: Web forms, Metadata, Business rules, Essbase Analytics Link, Hyperion financial management, Financial Data Quality Management (FDM), System reports, Smart View, General setup and application security, and end user support.
- Familiar with industry trends (both business and technology), competitor s strengths/weaknesses, emerging technologies capabilities and limitations, existing production systems capabilities and limitations, customer needs, strong conceptual/creative thinking skills, able to work as a business partner envisioning business solutions that are enabled by technology. - Have an understanding of corporate accounting concepts including: US GAAP and FASB regulations; consolidated financial statements; currency translation; and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.

- Responsible for maintaining the Chart of Accounts and playing a key role in system processes that support the monthly P&L close and consolidation.
- Working knowledge of financial reporting including financial statements, cash flow, and government reporting.
- Working knowledge in report development, including ad-hoc, dashboarding, and scorecarding.
- Translates business questions and requirements into actionable reports, dashboards, scorecards, and views.

Required: - Bachelor s degree in computer science technologies and/or finance related disciplines or equivalent (necessary to develop self-direction, writing ability, critical thinking, and foundations of programming and software delivery fundamentals).
- Possess or has made progress towards receiving a Oracle Hyperion Certification or equivalent experience
- Cumulative 3+ years of experience in technology leadership and management positions or equivalent proven experience in similar technology and management in the financial reporting arena.
- Cumulative 7+ years of experience in software development in the financial enterprise performance management arena.2+ year s management of technical/support personnel.
- 2+ year s project management.
- 5+ years experience with EPM and/or Hyperion suite of reporting tools
- Experience managing software solution projects that have a budget of at least $1,000,000 and business systems portfolios consisting of multiple applications/technologies and teams (direct or matrix).
