Client is looking for Basic Level SSIS/SQL Server Developers.
 
Job Title: Application Development
Location: Eden Prairie, Minnesota
Duration: 12 months

 
·         Works with business and technical staff to design a applications modules/feature that meets business needs.
·         Provides a balanced approach between technical solutions and business requirements for designs and problem resolution.
·         Designs and builds applications compliant with application frameworks and standards and assists in maintaining them.
·         Creates and maintains design artifacts as required by the development methodology and by the team.
·         Able to understand the existing architecture, and suggest to extend it in a well thought out manner.
·         Provides leadership for technical teams, including mentoring software engineers, leading design/code reviews, and reviewing other artifacts as appropriate.
·         Assists in bringing new team members up-to-speed.
·         Ensures that all technical documentation is complete, and that developers are following best practices.
·         Is very involved (along with other disciplines) in creation of accurate & realistic estimates of all major systems functions.
·         Signs off on application changes prior to development.
·         Troubleshoots issues that arise and escalates as appropriate.
·         Able to accurately estimate software architecture projects.
·         Uses independent judgment in developing recommendation but consults with colleagues and Principal Architect before implementing recommended changes.
·         May be responsible for the architecture of one or more client solutions in a portfolio.
·         Communicates continuously with technical and/or business leaders in a manner they can understand.
·         Other duties as assigned
 
Minimum Qualification:
 
·         Bachelor degree in computer science or related IT field, and a minimum of 10 years’ experience of designing and programming.
·         Experience in waterfall & agile methodologies.
·         Expertise in the following technologies:
·         SQL / PLSQL, ETL / SSIS, SSAS, SSRS
·         Database and application design and modeling experience.
·         SQL SERVER, Microsoft TFS
·         Certified in relevant technologies.
·         Able to work effectively with onshore & offshore teams.
 
Preferred Qualifications:
·         Ability to architect & troubleshoot software solutions with an awareness of networking, servers, operating systems, databases, internet, configuration management, or other technologies.
