Long Term Contract Position
Job Description:
Liaison with Platform operation leaders in Compute/windows, Storage, and Network domains to drive operations improvements.
Required Experience:
o Cross-functional infrastructure experience with Systems, Storage and Networking
o Strong understanding of Microsoft Windows 2012 R2 and 2016 operating systems
o Expertise in Virtualization technologies – Hyper-V preferred
o Experience supporting Microsoft Azure infrastructure services.
o Experience in SCOM & System Center.
o Knowledge on MS Clustering, FCM, VMM and CAU
o Knowledge of the operating models for private cloud, IaaS, and PaaS technologies
o Perform troubleshooting analysis
o Previous infrastructure operations experience
o Knowledge of Windows server operating systems
o Familiarity with continuous integration and delivery
o Strong communication skills, written and verbal
o Strong work ethic, attention to detail and problem solving skills
o Proven experience with automation and/or scripting language (PowerShell, Chef, Puppet, etc).
