Need L3 Level - Windows Systems Administrator with a little exposure on VMWARE.
 
Job Title : Windows Systems Administrator
Duration : 2 Years
Location : Wallingford, Connecticut

 
Job Level Specific Duties - Is a level 3 who has skills in Windows Server Administration to keep the system environment stable - Manage Active Directory and Windows Server Infrastructure - Work on user tickets related to windows Infrastructure - Develop Scripts that will help automate activities in terms of alerts and reports - Work with third party vendors to support applications hosted on Windows Servers - Perform installation and maintenance of complex hardware / software systems - Keeps abreast of new technology and make recommendations as to how best to utilize the new technology for the benefit of our customers. Proactively assesses exposure areas and takes steps to reduce vulnerabilities. - Prescribes system backup / disaster recovery procedures and directs recovery operations in the event of destruction of all or part of the operating system or other system components. Skills  Essential:  Windows System Engineer with Excellent working experience on: - Administration of Windows server 2012 and 2016 infrastructure. MCSE Certification in Administering Windows 2012 / 2016 Server Infrastructure. - Administration of Active Directory (OU’s , GPO, Fismo roles etc..) - Level 3 troubleshooting skills - Build Windows Servers and Clustering - Analyze and validation of windows security patches - DNS and DHCP Infrastructure - Regular Health Checks of Servers - Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. - Strong understanding of enterprise system and network management systems. - Understand and follow ITIL processes including Change & Configuration, Problem, Incident and Service Readiness and other SOP ( Standard Operating Procedures)  Preferred:  - Experience in SCCM Patch and Package administration - Experience in Backup and Restoration Systems, preferable EMC’s Avamar/IDPA - Familiarity with HP Blade, Cisco UCS and x86 hardware architecture - Has work experience in a multi team and matrix environment - Hands on experience on VMWARE.
