Position: Altiris/ SCCM Administrator

Location: 5601 Center Drive, Orlando, FL 32801 – remote is ok.

Duration: 1 Year 4 Months 26 Days

 

Job Description:

·         Client Information Technology department is seeking an advanced multi-disciplined individual experienced in Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager Operating System Deployment (SCCM OSD).

·         Candidate should have advanced skills in Windows 10 Enterprise configuration and troubleshooting in an enterprise environment.

·         The position requires a responsible, self-motivated, well organized individual with the ability to handle multiple concurrent projects while adapting quickly to rapidly changing priorities.

 

Responsibilities include:

·         Design, develop and maintain SCCM OSD task sequences for deployment of Windows 10 OS to existing and new devices.

·         Execute project related tasks including discovery, design, test plan development, and delivery of completed product to operations team.

·         Support for OS deployment technologies to a worldwide enterprise.

·         Provide rapid response to PC Imaging issues and outages.

·         Troubleshoot PXE boot issues.

·         Work under limited direction with extensive latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.

·         Must possess a customer focused attitude.

·         Must be able to communicate technical concepts clearly to a wide audience.

·         Produce technical and operational documentation.

·         Provide OS Deployment and data migration process training to Field Team Analysts.

·         Work closely with Level III support to assist Field Teams and Level II support.

 

Assist businesses with defining PC end state configuration consisting of:

·         Business specific applications.

·         Business specific configurations.

·         Troubleshoot OS Deployment failures.

 

Candidate should have a working knowledge of the following:

·         SCCM Current Branch task sequence deployment methods and best practice.

·         Microsoft User State Migration Tool (USMT) – rules and capabilities.

·         Advanced knowledge of Windows 7 and 10.

·         Specifically installation, configuration and troubleshooting.

·         VBScript, PowerShell, WMI, Windows Scripting Host, and Windows command-line utilities.

·         Microsoft Active Directory Administration experience.

·         Troubleshoot GPO processing issues.

·         Develop GPO and GPO Preference.

·         LAN or WAN troubleshooting.

·         Experience with Microsoft Operating System deployment tools: MDT, SCCM, OSD and Windows PE.

·         Virtual Machine usage for testing OSD and related tasks.

·         Change Management.

·         The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of related technical support experience.

·         Contract for several months until Altiris is decommissioned.
