Position: Oracle / Postgres Database Developer

Location: Fort Worth, TX

Duration: 6 Months+

Looking for 10+ years in Oracle and 2 years in Postgres

 

Client is looking for a passionate, energetic member of an agile team to play a key role in development projects for customer facing applications:

Candidate will have an opportunity to work across the product’s layers to deliver features and functionality as part of a highly collaborative, quality-focused team. This candidate must have strong technical skills as well as be a good communicator, and have an eye for technical excellence. Individuals who are able to contribute in all aspects of the development lifecycle as well as being vocal, committed, passionate members of a highly collaborative team will excel.

Skills / Experience:

• Expert level knowledge on ORACLE and Postgres database platform and architecture.
• Hands on knowledge with SQL, Stored Procedures, Optimization utilities
• Experience in database administration skills and responsibilities monitoring/alerting, backup/recovery,
• working experience in Unix/Linux OS, shell scripting
• Working database experience on one or more cloud platform MS Azure, IBM, AWS
