Oracle PL/SQL Developer / Database developer

Location: Miami FL

Job description:

Generate SQL code that performs and scales based on Volume
Quickly and efficiently write (or generate) PL/SQL code that adheres to internal technical guidelines
Contribute to the design and development of all internally developed SQL job
Assist internal resources during the QA cycle and client resources during the UAT cycle by executing jobs. monitoring for errors, and researching suspected data issues
Provide accurate level of effort estimates based on functional requirements
Provide impact analysis and solution design for all change requests after reviewing all related documentation
Be a key player on new client implementations
Support high-priority production issues or other issues that junior resources are unable to resolve
Assist end users with understanding the data model and writing efficient queries
Ensure performance of the SQL queries are optimum and continuously fine-tune the SQL Objects
Contribute to overall process improvements for the team

Required Basic skills:

5 + years of experience in the following skill sets:

Required advance skills:

Advanced SQL queries
Relational, Dimensional, OLTP and OLAP database experience
Understanding of data modelling, dimensional modelling, relevant data concepts and schemas
