Position : Sr Data Scientist
Location: Chicago, IL
Duration: 12+ months
Job Description:
· Hands on experience in building machine learning models using algorithms such as k-NN, Naive Bayes, SVM, Decision Forests, etc.
· Hands on experience with common data science toolkits, such as Python, R, NLTK, Spacy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, SciPy, NumPy Excellence in at least one of these is highly desirable
· Experience in building solution for Image and Text Classification using OCR tools such as Tessaract, Google OCR
· Great communication skills
· Experience with data visualisation tools, such as D3.js, GGplot, Matplotlib, Seaborn etc.
· Proficiency in using query languages such as SQL, Hive, Pig
· Experience with NoSQL databases, such as MongoDB, Cassandra, HBase
· Good applied statistics skills, such as distributions, statistical testing, regression, etc.
· Good scripting and programming skills by integrating to mainstream application such as Angular.js, Node.js
· Data-oriented personality
· Understanding AI/Deep Learning algorithm such as CNN, RNN, LSTM
· Experience in building AI based NLP and OCR solution using Keras, Google Tensorflow, Theano, Caffe 2 etc…
