10+ years of experience analyzing, designing, coding, testing and maintaining complex software applications
Experience with RESTful architecture
Experience with Java and Springboot exp is a must
Capability to use data structures and algorithms to solve problems
Strong communication skills, and interest in a pair-programming environment
He or She should have experience in working on Agile development methodology
Title: Application Developer
Location: Chicago IL
Duration: 3-6 months
Java Programming language - Will be building APIs and TCP/UDP/HTTP gateways for an IoT solution in AWS. Should be able to comfortable guiding less experienced devs.
Must Have: strong Java background, understanding of Java best practices and patterns, REST API experience, Agile/Scrum project experience, Git
Very nice to have: Spring Boot, DevOps (CI/CD pipelines, cloud formation templates)
Nice to have: AWS (IoT, Lambda, DynamoDB (or other NoSQL), Fargate (or Kubernetes/Docker)
• Primary Skill Set for this role: Java / AWS specifically IoT Gateway services
