Position: Sr. System Database Administrator

Location: Memphis, TN

Rate: Not to exceed $55/.C2C

Duration: Long Term

Immigration: Only US Citizen, Green Card Holder,GC-EAD,H4-EAD,L2-EAD, H1-B 

 

 

Job Description:

Formal Education & Certification

• College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science and/or 8 to 10 years equivalent work experience.

Knowledge & Experience

• Strong understanding of database structures, theories, principles, and practices.

• Extensive technical experience with designing, building, installing, configuring, and supporting database servers, including SQL Server 2012, 2016, 2017.

• Extensive experience with SSIS packages.

• Extensive experience with SQL Service Broker.

• Extensive experience with SQL Server AG.

• Hands-on database tuning and troubleshooting experience.

• Experience with data processing flowcharting techniques.

• Project management experience.

• Strong understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives.

• Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws.

• Good written and oral communication skills.

• Strong technical documentation skills.

• Good interpersonal skills.

• Ability to conduct research into database issues, standards, and products as required.

• Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language.
