Description :
As a Salesforce.com Developer with SAP Concur, you will contribute to the design and implementation of new features and maintenance of existing functionalities. You will be a professional liaison to both IT and Concur cross-functional business groups, helping design and deliver solutions within the Salesforce.com platform. This role will design, develop, and QA solutions, and will partner with architecture team and coordinate complex work assignments.
The successful candidate will be passionate about scalable and extensible software design, test driven development methods, clean and well documented code, well-aligned and forward-looking data architecture, and the power of "the cloud” to provide for unified solutions in a diversified system landscape.
This position requires work coordination skills, as well as the ability to execute, including a deep programmatic knowledge of Salesforce.com, APEX, Visualforce, Javascript, AJAX, HTML, XML, Java, and SQL, among others.
Successful candidates for this position will have
• Broad-based experience in systems architecture and development, with demonstrated experience integrating multiple systems and business processes
• Strong understanding of CRM (Salesforce, SAP), sales, marketing, services, support and CX business process, and strong understanding of challenges, opportunities and industry trends in 2 or more of these areas.
• Experience working in a structured release management environment, including change and release management as well as scrum methodologies for managing high volume work requests.
• Experienced in coding APEX Triggers, Classes and Test methods.
• Experienced with Salesforce.com Web Services APIs using SOAP and REST.
• Experienced with Debugging methods such as Anonymous Code Block execution and working/writing to System and Developer Logs.
• Significant development experience in a SaaS based industry, including business process change management expertise.
• Experienced with source control using GitLab or Perforce.
• Familiar with CI/CD pipeline concepts and using within a modernized DevOps development lifecycle.
• Deep domain knowledge of Salesforce.com Security Model, Approval and Custom Workflow creation, as well as Salesforce.com App Distribution Methods.
• 6+ years in a related software development role.
• 6+ years Salesforce.com development experience, including programming with APEX, Triggers, Javascript, HTML, XML, and related technologies.
• 6+ years' experience with database technologies, including strong knowledge of SQL.
• 6+ years' experience with object-oriented programming languages such as Java, C#.
• Prefer candidates that have obtained Salesforce.com certifications
• 6+ years of experience working in hi-tech industry, Cloud based SW company is a plus
• 8+ years of experience in application development and design
• 5+ years of experience working with hosted/cloud applications and integrations to internal systems
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Strong scripting experience, ability to script in Ruby, Python, or Perl
• Experience with configuration management tools such as Chef and Puppet
• Network troubleshooting experience with layer 2-7 tools (dns, portquery, trace route, ping, telnet, tcpdump, wireshark)
• Experience with virtualized and/or cloud-based solutions for either virtual machines and/or containers
• Experience with project tracking tools like JIRA, HPSM, BMC Remedy or similar.
• Strong communications and a natural curiosity around technical developments
• Critical thinker with broad subject and domain expertise
• Experience working within an agile team to vet requirements and estimate work
• Experience with automated build/test/deploy and continuous integration tools preferred
• Strong desire to continually improve
• Ability to pass background check
• Ability to Travel internationally, up to 20% of the time
