Position: Jr. Mobility Engineer Location: Richardson, TX Contract: 18 months Interviews: WebEx video interview Experience: 3-4 years in targeted General requirements for all Mobility Engineers: - Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field
- You should have experience or graduate school equivalent in the telecommunications industry
Qualifying skill sets: - Hands-on experience with Evolved Packet Core network architecture, network elements’ functionalities, and communication protocols
- Evolved Packet Core related issues include: (may be helpful to have these listed on a résumé):
- MME, SGW, PGW, DRA, and PCRF
- AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure experience (it doesn’t matter which one)
- Networking with open-source software experience:
- Scripting experience with:
- Python, Bash, Shell, Perl, etc.
- Configuration management
- Puppet, Ansible, Chef, etc.
- Good knowledge of 3GPP standards
- Familiar with CUPS and 5G Core architecture and functions
Will be working on a Mobility project.
