Job Title AWS DevOps Engineer (Data) Location Miami FL Duration 6-12+ Months Contract Job Description Position Overview: Client is looking for an AWS DevOps Data Engineer to spearhead our client’s AWS cloud migration though Automating, Building, Deploying, Releasing and Troubleshooting AWS-native and non-native Applications in a DevOps Culture. Strong Continuous Integration (CI) & Continuous Deployment/Delivery (CD) experience is required. Our client is nation’s leading provider of Renewable and clean Energy. They are often hailed the top company to work for in South Florida. Responsibilities: Responsible for the development and integration of new or existing applications into the technical infrastructure and existing business processes. Provides technical or functional guidance to project or work teams as needed within a specific discipline. Collaborates on an on-going basis with the Business Systems Analyst. Analyzes, designs, develops, tests, debugs, implements, maintains and/or enhances existing or new systems that are reliable and efficient. Required Skills: •        AWS IT Professional with 3+ years of experience in IT industry •        Major focus on Automating, Building, Deploying, Releasing and Troubleshooting AWS-native and non-native Applications in a DevOps •        Continuous Integration (CI) & Continuous Deployment/Delivery (CD) as an iterative process and Automation of Infrastructure as Code. •        Experienced in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) with specific focus on the build and release of quality software/application. •        Experience in Waterfall, Agile/Scrum. •        Valuable experience in shell and python scripting with focus on DevOps tools, CI/CD and AWS Cloud Architecture and hands-on Engineering. •        Hands-on experience on AWS Data platforms S3, RDS, Redshift, DynamoDB, Elastic Cache etc... •        Worked on Jenkins for continuous integration and for End-to-End automation for all Build and deployments. •        Extensive experience on major AWS components such as VPC, EC2, ECS, ECR, AMI, IAM, RDS, S3, Elastic IPs, EBS, Security Groups, ALB/ELB/NLB, Auto Scaling, Direct Connect, VPN, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Route 53, ElastiCache, AWS Lambda, and specially, CloudFormation. •        Experience with Cloud security and log tools like Splunk, AppDynamics and Sumo Logic. •        Significant exposure in various OS administration tasks. •        Excellent communication skills       Thanks!
