Job Description.….

• SCOM Engineer is needed with a focus on SCOM custom management pack development.
• System Center Operations Manager (SCOM) 2007 R2 and 2012 infrastructure (intermediate)
• Experience with Operations Management Suite (OMS) System Center Operations Manager (SCOM) management pack development using Authoring Console (intermediate) Windows server scripting (VBS / PowerShell)(intermediate)
• Experience supporting SCOM in an enterprise environment Windows and Active Directory troubleshooting (intermediate) Roles and Responsibilities
• Ongoing escalation support for SCOM 2007 R2, SCOM 2012, SCOM 2016 infrastructures, with single and multiple connected management groups.  
• Testing and certification of vendor management packs - Implementation of custom monitoring rules for in-house applications and custom overrides - Document and support transition of engineered solutions to operations for implementation.
• Consolidation and rewrites of existing custom management packs –
• Development of custom alert bus connector for SCOM 2012 leveraging SC Orchestrator
• Automation of management pack deployment
• Automation of SCOM agent deployment, healthcheck and recovery - Development of custom dashboard using SRS and SharePoint Experis is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE/AA) Candidate

 

Qualifications :-

• Bachelor degree in computer science or equivalent with more than 10 years’ experience.
