Immediate Need Senior Big Data Analyst
Pittsburgh, PA
6-12 Months Contract
Required Technical Skills:
Seven to eight years end to end Hadoop technology stack experience in a large banking industry
Ability to apply Hadoop technologies (Sqoop, Flume, Hive, Pig, Hbase, and Spark) to extract information from various data sources, including structure and non-structure real time/batch data sources. And perform data analysis and build data architecture using Pig scripts, Python, HiveQL, SQLR, Shell Scripts
Ability to integrate various data sources, consolidate data, analyze data characteristics, store them in a Hadoop cluster environment, and supply these data sets to a HIVE for analytics
Ability to develop data extraction, data analysis, data transformation and load scripts using big data tool-sets, visualize the information, identify any data issues and provide the best recommendation
Six to eight years of development and technical hands-on experiences in big data development using Cloudera Hadoop technologies and data analysis
Functional Skill
Financial or banking industry data management experience
Working experience in analyzing financial information and identifying data issues, studying data to identify opportunities, risks, and predict revenue / loss potentials including attrition
Hands on working experiences in financial PII data, data exploration and identifying various business metrics, including sales, pipeline, forecast, budget, revenue, opportunities and other key financial metrics
