Title: Onsite IT Admin
Location: Charleston, SC
Duration: 6 Months
H1B (Min 10+ Yrs Experience & Need Passport Number/Copy) / GC / USC
Primary Skills: Backup, LAN, server clustering, VMware, Wintel
Requirement:
SME in Wintel and VMware technologies along with knowledge and understanding of server clustering, LAN networking, and server room administration
Physical operations (proximity support) as directed by Capgemini delivery teams or regular procedures.
Server restarts
LAN Cabling
Backup Tape Management
IT equipment re-boots as directed by incident and change tickets.
Support delivery teams in incident fix/resolution/ Troubleshooting, fault finding
Day-to-day operations of Wintel and VMware infrastructure
A good understanding of server infrastructure and connectivity, local server room facilities
This will require close engagement with Capgemini's client, partners and application teams to leverage a standardized 24x7 delivery support model onsite in Charleston, SC client campus
Rapid response to Incidents.
What you'll bring:
Skills in Wintel and VMware virtualized infrastructure
Experience with application and infrastructure management and monitoring tools
Understanding of basic Network infrastructure
Knowledge of standard Wintel and VMware monitoring tools and use of industry standard ITSM tooling
Good working knowledge of processes and procedures (like ITIL) and ability to provide clear instructions for the creation of knowledge-based articles
Excellent English communication capabilities, both written and verbal
Understanding of backup and restore requirements
Key skills:
Wintel server admin
VMware admin
Virtual Desktop Infrastructure
ITSM Tools
Certification:
Wintel/Vmware certification a must
