Job Title: Oracle Database Administrator
Location: Reston, VA
Duration: 6+ Months Contract
Job Description:
Looking for Database Administrator to provide database support on a variety of hardware and software platforms and peripherals.
Should have 10 years of IT Experience with alteast 5+ years of end to end database administration with Oracle.
Would consider either System DBA as well as application DBA.
Should have strong SQL & Shell scripting skills – Korn shell, Python Skills.
Should have experience managing 30+ TB of databases.
At least 1 year of hands on experience working with AWS
Experience with EMR (Elastic Map Reduce aka Hadoop), RDS (Relational Database Service), Lambda, Elastic Beanstalk, Redshift is a plus
Experience in Migration from op-premise databases to AWS Cloud & Postgres experience is a plus
