Role: Database Developer
Location: NYC, NY
Full-Time/Contract Role


Database developer for the Orchard integration project. The resource will need Oracle experience.
Solid understanding of relational databases.
Requires a background developing application using PL/SQL and the ability to write complex queries and develop reports to support business needs.
Manage documentation of processes, reports and database relationships.
Creation and maintenance of technical documentation.
Diagnose and resolve database access and performance issues.
Develop, implement, and maintain change control and testing processes for modifications to databases.
Identify inefficiencies in current databases and investigate solutions
Plan and coordinate data migrations between systems.
Ensure all database systems meet business and performance requirements
Automate and Execute required database reports and migration activities using Linux shell scripting
Requirements:

3 - 6 years of experience writing SQL
Extensive understanding of SQL
Strong analytical, problem solving and communications skills
BS degree in Computer Science or relevant field.
Desired:

AWS RDS experience
PostgreSQL/Oracle experience
Linux shell scripting
Graph DB
