Position: - Sr. Java Software Engineer
Location: Boston, MA
Job Type: -Contract (6+ months tentative)

Job Description:
Our client company located in Boston, MA, is in need of a Sr. Java Engineer for 6 months plus. The Engineer will be collaborating with business and technical teams in a dynamic environment and developing Service Layer, Back End Database Stored procedures in an agile environment. The Engineer will be part of a global agile team to develop software solutions that meet functional and non-functional requirements in both Service Layer and Database components and participating in design reviews as well as CI/CD activities.

Required Skills:

• 5-10 years of hands-on design and development with of software development and programming experience,
  • Specific experience with Java, Spring Boot, JMS, XML, JSON,
• Experience working in a fast-paced Agile software development environment with continuous integration, continuous delivery tools and Test-Driven Development
• 5+ years of Oracle DB
• Implementing RESTful Microservices and stored procedures.
• Experience in building highly scalable relational database solutions
• Knowledgeable in developing solutions leveraging Microservices Architecture
• Deep knowledge of design patterns
• Working experience in building high volume services using multi-thread programming

Preferred or Nice to Have Skills:

• Financial Services/Investment Management/Capital markets experience
• 12 factor app methodology
