Title: SharePoint Developer Location: Fountain Valley, CA Duration: 6 Months Contract Job Summary: Senior SharePoint developer(8-10 years) needed to support PMO SDLC site through development of forms, workflows and web parts. SharePoint Developer Job Duties: - Design and develop a high quality, scalable and extendable SharePoint solution which may include custom forms, web parts, workflows, timer jobs and other application solutions using Visual Studio by leveraging the SP Object Model, CSOM and JSOM.
- Must have strong knowledge and experience working with SQL Server.
- Must have the expertise with JavaScript, JQuery, HTML5, and CSS to customize master pages and pages.
- Must have excellent analytical skills, good knowledge of project life cycles and the ability to work in a team environment.
- Must be able to translate use cases into functional applications
- Provide daily/weekly schedule updates and overall project status
- Prepare technical materials, documentation, training, and process definition for future system maintenance best practices
- Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
- Good Understanding in .net core development including C#, ASP.Net (MVC, REST interfaces using Web API)
- Some Admin support PMO & Collaboration Portal SharePoint Site
Experience and Educational Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 8-10 years of related work experience with at least 7 years of experience as a SharePoint Developer in implementing the SharePoint based solutions.
- 5-7 years of SQL Server experience
- Worked with SharePoint Object Model, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, SQL Server, Web Services, Security, Exception handling and SharePoint branding for large, complex, or enterprise-wide solutions.
- Strong knowledge of SharePoint Architecture, Object Model and SharePoint Features.
- Strong oral and writing skills, to communicate effectively to stakeholders.
- Strong work ethic with good time management with ability to work with diverse teams and lead meetings.
- Solid experience collecting requirements, developing ad hoc solutions, and building reports
- Skilled in SDLC and Agile development processes.
- Ability to facilitate meetings with individuals and or groups to gather, understand and articulate their business needs.
- Analytical skills, to critically evaluate the information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, and decompose high-level information into clear potential deliverables.
Preferred technical experience: - Experience with SharePoint Online, SharePoint 2010/2013 /2016/2019 and Office 365
- Experience with SQL Server 2008/2012
- Custom development to extend and augment the SharePoint platform
- Worked with development tools such as Visual Studio
- Experience of building applications using object oriented methodology.
- Design and development of Business Intelligence dashboards
