Job Description:

Senior Backend Engineer to support the ecommerce subscriptions platforms
Need to pair program with other core NYT developers on roadmap projects
Needs to have good understanding of modern engineering principles
Strong background in Java, Rest API, OAuth, Micro services
Strong knowledge of Java architecture and design patterns
Working knowledge of database, optimization, SQL
Knowledge of deployment tools like Jenkins, Ansible, Puppet is desired
Knowledge of application security, SOX compliance, PCI compliance
Knowledge of software unit testing with tools like JUNIT, TestNG etc
