Job Description:
The key to this role is that the resource MUST have strong hands-on experience in migrating from Windows 7 to Windows 10.
We strongly prefer a person who lives in CA or nearby.
• Candidate must have experience with the creation and testing of customized Windows 10 images
o VDI experience a must
o Knowledge of SCCM and upgrades of Windows 7 to Windows 10
o Experience with in-place upgrades, including configuration and inclusion of clinical applications during the upgrade.
o Familiar with readiness tool deployment
o Clear understanding of Office 365 click-to-run vs Microsoft office 2016
o Experience with PST File migration
o Experience with Active Directory (AD)
• Candidate must be able to create and develop new GPO' (group policies) to manage computers and users in AD for a Windows 7/10 environment.
• Able to create and test VDI Windows 10 gold image and pools
• Experience testing compatibility of hardware with Windows 10 images
• Capable of replacing Windows 10 on unsupported PC's and other devices
• Experience with validation & testing of clinical applications (after deployment) on the new Windows 10 VDI images
• Capable of providing training & communication about Win10 conversion to all end users
• Must be able to develop a comprehensive testing and deployment plan for Windows 7/10
• Excellent communications skills
