Position :- Azure Cloud Systems Analyst
Location :- Greenville, SC or REMOTE
Location of Greenville, SC is preferred, but remote is an option:
An application systems analyst who has proven broad depth of working knowledge in the Azure Cloud Environment. Note: This is an application development position. Must be able to analyze data and develop strategies for populating data lakes. This is not an infrastructure position.
This person may be called upon to do complex coding using U-SQL.
The cloud systems analyst should be able to perform the following in Eastern Standard Time Hours but not limited to:
1. Lead, design, build, validate and implement new data or migrate data from existing environments (simple to complex data)
2. Create technical design documents using approved standards
3. Ability to create the list of deliverables and level of efforts related to the assigned project
4. Interfaces with the PMO, architecture, service delivery and other impacted application areas
5. Transition work to application service delivery
6. Understand SDLC and methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid)
7. Work with multiple vendors within the same team
8. Team Lead (multiple vendors)
Must work US eastern business hours
Skills:
1. Proven work experience in Azure Cloud creating data lakes and utilizing data factory
2. Ability to determine how data should be moved from source to Data Lake and/or through the data factory
3. Create technical specs for migration of data and/or aggregations of data
4. Worked with reporting tools (i.e. Micro strategy) to set up views
5. Data Mapping
6. U-SQL proven work history required
7. T-SQL ( A plus)
8. Hadoop/Hive (A plus)
9. Logic Apps (A plus)
10. MS Office (word, excel, visio, project)
Soft Skills:
1. Excellent written and verbal skills (English)
2. Flexible
3. Self-Starter
4. Ability to work in fast pace environment
