Job Description:

 

• Comprehensive understanding of Oracle Supply Chain Management business process
• Oracle modules include Inventory, Manufacturing, Work in Process, Order Management, Warehousing Management
• Business process includes Supply Planning, Supply Management, Manufacturing and Logistics
• Able to configure/setups Inventory, Manufacturing, Work in Process, Order Management, Warehousing Management
• Comprehensive understanding of Sales Ordering which includes Quoting, converting Quote to Order, Order booking, Holds, Cancellation, ATP (Available to Promise), Backlog Management, Reservations and        release of reservations, Work Order, Sub-Inventories, Inventories
• Warehouse Management Processing includes –
• Picking, Pick Release, Back ordering, Printing Pick Slips
• Shipping – Manifesting Orders, Ship Confirm Orders, Third party logistics Integration (FedEx, UPS Etc), Inventory Adjustments and Interfacing to AR with AutoInvoicing
• Inventory – Management Inventory, Adjust Inventory, Misc Transactions, Items Setups, Item and Holds and Releases
• Work In Process – Creation of Work Orders, Cancel Orders etc
• Review and document architectural changes for the proposed changes to the system
• Defend proposed architecture in the architectural forums
• Document solution design document and review the same in the solution design forums
• Conduct solution reviews with business teams, developers, QA teams and Application Support teams
• Help review technical specifications written by developers and make sure the technical solution is in line with Solution proposed
• Conduct system configurations and test the configurations end-to-end and make sure the solution is working fine
• Help QA teams to documents Testing strategy, testing solution, testing scenarios and test cases
• Help QA teams to come up with data for testing
• Help business users in conducting user acceptance testing, documenting test cases and scenarios
• Help support the post production process to make sure the implementation is successful
• Train application support team on the solution and Knowledge transfer
• Help the management team in providing weekly status updates
• Conduct end user training on the proposed solution
