Job Title: Hadoop Developer Location: Chicago, IL 60604 Contract Duration: 3 Months Job Description: - In the role of Technology Lead, you will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design.
- You will play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts.
- You will also deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty.

Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education
- At least 6 years of experience with Information Technology
Preferred: - 8 years of Rich and hands on experience with distributed frameworks, handling large amount of big data using Apache and Ecosystems.
- Hands of experience with Spark, SQL, HDFS, Hive, Impala, Ozie, Scala, Pyspark, sparklyR, R, Microsoft Azure - HD Insights.
- Building complex models using Pyspark and guiding business users on modelling.
- Databricks, warehouse and Cloudera On-Premise
- Proficient knowledge of with any RDBMS.
- Knowledge of Oracle databases and PL/SQL.
- Working knowledge and good experience in Unix environment and capable of Unix Shell scripts (ksh, bash).
- Basic administration knowledge.
- DevOps Knowledge is an added advantage.
- Ability to work within deadlines and effectively prioritize and execute on tasks.
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written) with ability to communicate across teams, internal and external at all levels.
