Job Title: ETL Engineer
Location: Chicago, IL
Duration: 6+ Months contract Position
 
Required Skills : Azure, SQL, ssis, pentaho
 

Job Description :
 
Your Job Responsibilities 

• Build and maintain ETL/ELT to move data between our disparate production systems, including Informix, MS-SQL, Oracle, MySQL and external sources
• Become a data steward at Peapod Digital Labs, learning about and assisting others with data expertise from many areas of our business
• Understand the business needs behind the data we pull, and create real solutions to business challenges
• Help support our Data Warehouse and Analytics reporting systems
• Assist analysts and developers with their data needs

 
Job Requirements 

• Bachelor's or higher degree, and 1-3+ years of experience
• Competency in Pentaho Kettle preferred
• Experience with SSIS or other ETL tools is a plus
• Experience working with Azure data tools
• Strong knowledge of SQL
• Working experience with Relational Database Systems
• Solid understanding of Database Design
• Experience with BI Reporting Tools, preferably PowerBI, is a plus
