Title: Data Architect

Duration: 6+ Months

Job Description:
Need 10+ years of Data Architect with SCM experience
Lead or participate in gathering business and data requirements
Lead analysis of source systems, performing through Data Profiling and Data Quality analysis
Facilitate the discovery of entities, attributes, relationships, and business rules from the functional experts and the user community.
Develop and maintain an integrated, subject-oriented, predominantly conceptual enterprise data model that represents essential data produced and consumed across the enterprise.
Design suitable data model and semantic layers for the Data Warehouse/Analytical Reporting/Operational Databases
Define underlying data sources and transformation requirements
Develop and ensure compliance with data modeling best practices and standards
Define and document the source to target mappings for data Integration
Should have strong experience working on supply chain management
Participate and consult on ETL and Reporting design
Document Metadata and Business Glossary for the Business Units / Subject area supported
As the expert on the data for the subject areas supported, lead and consult on Data validation and data related issues
Manage enterprise data model, documenting all metadata in the current data warehouse environment
High performance physical database design & performance tuning.
Physically implement the database design on Teradata,SQL Server and Snowflake technologies
Experience or Familiarity with MDM, business intelligence, and data warehouse development techniques.
Participate in deploying the DB changes through various environments
Hands on experience in data modeling; conceptual, logical, physical and dimensional modeling
Experience on various Data Profiling and Data Quality tools
Hands on experience with Logical and Physical design, and performance tuning experience on Teradata & Snowflake like technologies
Experience troubleshooting data related issues
